The Valley High School Drama Club has been one of the main arts-producing organizations in the New Kensington-Arnold community for more than 10 years. In that time, we have introduced the magic of live theatre arts to over 1,000 students in our economically-depressed community.

Since our re-inception in the late 1990s, the cost of mounting a successful live-theatre production has sky-rocketed, while our committed funding has seen no increase. With production costs typically exceeding $25,000 per year, the students and staff (mostly volunteer) are tasked each year with raising nearly 85% of all costs for two shows.

The VHS Drama Club Boosters are asking for public help to offset the costs of bringing arts education and live theatre experience not only to the cast of our current planned production (Peter Pan), but to students and families throughout the Alle-Kiski Valley.
